Ultimate Burger A.K.A. Cheeseburger in Paradise

Memorial Day weekend is the start of summer and that means grilling season.
It’s also a great time for grilling burgers with family and friends.
It begins with good ingredients and proper preparation.
Nothing wrong with purchasing already grounded chuck or pre-formed 1/4 lb. patties, just make sure you have Island Grill on hand.
But if you have the time, the process makes for the best burgers ever.
Purchasing a little bit of beef sirloin, brisket & short rib then grinding it up yourself makes for a moist and delicious burger. The key is to keep it cold during the process. Keeping it cold avoids the meat getting over worked and mushy.
To do this freeze your equipment first. Put your blade attachment, food processor bowl and sheet pan in the freezer before beginning. Do not over work the meat when forming your patties. The end result will be a burger that won’t be soon forgot.
