This recipe is one I will never get tired of sharing. Seems everyone who gives these nuts a try ends up being hooked.
They make a perfect gift to share and are almost impossible to turn down.
It’s also quick and easy recipe. Most any nuts will do, a favorite combination is pecans, almonds, and pumpkin seeds.
Sweet & Savory Spiced Cocktail Nuts
1 tsp water
4 Cups assorted unsalted nuts (Pecans, Almonds, and Pumpkin Seeds work great together)
1/4 Cup Key West Spice Company® Southernmost Blend
1/2 Cup Brown sugar
Large stainless steel bowl
Large baking sheet (2 smaller ones will work)
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk egg white and water in a large bowl until frothy. Add measured nuts and seeds, toss to coat.
Mix Southernmost Blend and brown sugar together in a small bowl and add to the large bowl containing the moistened nuts and stir evenly to coat.
Spread seasoned nuts onto the baking sheet lined with the parchment paper.
Bake for 1 hour, check and stir midway through.
Can be served right away or placed in an airtight container for a later date, makes a for a perfect gift.

We tried these at an outdoor market while visiting Key West and they are the best ever!
Could not believe how easy they were to make once we got back home. Hate to say it, but I Love Your Nuts!
Before my husband passed away we took a family trip to Key West and happened along a street market and tried this recipe. I bought the spice and made the nuts for Christmas that year(2014) and have made them every year since and for many other occasions. I have directed many people to the site after they taste this recipe and love so much that I can buy it in bulk online. This spice and this recipe are amazing and bring me back to Key West every time I use it. Thanks for a great recipe and a sweet(and savory) memory!
So nice to hear how you and your husband together discovered the seasoning and our spiced cocktail nuts recipe in Key West.
Thank very much for sharing your story and for sharing the love!
Please let us know when you are ready for more Southernmost Blend and we’ll send it your way.
Thanks for sharing!
I just used up my bag of Southermost Blend making nuts for the holidays, and once again have two friends who have to get some! I hope you never take the recipe off the blog because I share the link every time I make it. I do add more of the Southernmost Blend than the recipe calls for because we love it so much! Thanks again for a snack that always pleases a crowd!
Thanks for sharing the Nuts!
